6 MONTHS!

Today Lily is 6 months old and as her daycare puts it, she is a little spitfire or firecracker!

Very much her own person & just a ball of energy, but she also is an observer. She will watch you very closely, not saying much and then when she is by herself or just me & Scott she chats up a storm. Lily also is rolling over both ways with out much effort. She reaches for toys, tries really hard to get them by rolling one way or the other, the starts crying in frustration that they are out of reach. She sits up all by herself for 10 min or more, but that usually depends on how excited/tired she is. She loves jumping in her excersaucer & banging away or trying to chew through toys. Lillian is an accomplished eater and has breezed through all of her #1 foods and has been dabbling in #2's. It seems like sweet potatoes, corn & squash mix, bananas and applesauce are her faves, but really will eat anything. She might have mom's sweet tooth.

Here are some random photos from this month:

Jan 1st Go Gators!

Sugar Bowl under way and Lily was showing her support!
GO GATORS! Personally it think red & white are her colors, even if they are not as good of a team...

She is such a tall skinny girl that the ruffle butt was a bit droopy and the shirt just fit!

Dec 25th Lily's First Christmas!

Here are some highlights of her first christmas. We went to Great Grandma & Grandpa's on the 24th, but I was too busy to get any photos from that so if you have any, please email them to me. I know there have go to be some good ones of her & Kalia in the rocking chair! And now on with the show!

Lillian waiting for Tori & Eric with her attractive antlers!

Now Frank & Lily are being tortured in costume. I think Lily is wondering why Frank got the costume with bells.

Lily in front of the loot.
The unwrapping begins. Mostly mom did the work and she got bored!
Nice bow!

Are we still unwrapping stuff?

Jammies from Nana!

Her first of many Mickey Mouse shirts!
Aunt Karen made her a Gator towel set!

After all the action is done. Notice the ridiculous loot pile behind her!
And after all those new toys, she still wanted her seahorse rattle. Which she is no longer allowed to play with because she gets mad at it and yells. It's pretty funny!
The boys with their new toys, Scott's PS3 & Eric Flip Video Camera!

Dec 16th - Lillian's Holiday Party

We were told to dress her in something holiday like. So I thought the Santa's helper outfit was the cutest dang think ever. Scott told me I had to take pictures of her, so before I left her at daycare I snapped some really cute ones!

My favorite one! So sweet! I just want to pinch her little cheeks!

Dec 9th - Wisconsin Winters Stink!!

I know that none of us that live in Wisconsin want to relive December 9th, but those Floridians who thought they had cold weather need to see just what winter means in the midwest!
The storm was so bad they even closed American TV! That has happened only one other time in the 50+ years! I couldn't believe it!

This storm was crazy, I think it was something like 18" in one day! Ridiculous!
This is in our front yard. I think this is a 24" ruler.
Notice only about 6" left at the top!Lillian out in the first big snow! So cute in her snow sack!

Notice the snow is almost to my knees! That is the TOP step to our front porch. The snow is covering up the other one!

Poor Scott had to shovel! It was really wet and heavy snow!
Look at the giant snow bank across the street!
This is our neighbor snow-blowing the drive way. You can get a pretty good look at the amount of snow we got and just how much fun it is when the snowplow comes and dumps tons of snow at the end of the driveway! Our neighbor has got to be about 6" tall... that bank is at his waist! The tress on the side of our houseSo pretty. This is our street after it was all done. The house after much shoveling!
Not only did a ton of snow dump on us, but in the same day Scott's back window in his car blew out! We had to tarp it up so more snow wouldn't get in. The Scott had to shovel so we could move my car out of the garage and get his into the garage. It was a really rough week!

First time with Rice Cereal!

At her 4 month appointment we got the ok to start giving her stage 1 foods. Her she is on the big opening night! She did pretty well. Here she is wondering what she is eating and why Grandma and Dad are running around with those strange cameras again!
