Thanksgiving Laughs

4 MONTHS!!

We just had our 4 month appointment! Our doctor said Lillian is looking great, growing and learning all the stuff 4 month olds do. He gave us the go ahead to start the cereals and then stage 1 foods. FUN! I can wait to get her going. She drools when I am eating in front of her! 

So here are her 4 month stats:

Weight: 12lbs 15oz  (34%)

Height: 26" (96%!)

Head: 16" (40%)

We have some fantastic video of her on Thanksgiving that I will make Scott post.

Lily Rolls OVER!

Today Lily rolled from her back to her belly!  She had been really trying for about 3 weeks and finally got all the way over! 

Time has been tight so we haven't been able to get as many photos up but these are some of my favorites from a Sunday morning in November (Nov 1st) when the sun was shining for about 10 seconds!

12 weeks - WHAT?! I have to leave my baby!

I can't believe this day is here! This morning I had to leave my nugget with someone else... It was so hard to walk out of that building without her. Daycare is such a cruel thing! You spend every waking moment trying to figure out this little person and when you finally have a grasp on what she needs and what her routine is you have to let someone else do it. So hard! But I was a strong parent and I didn't cry until I was in my car, talking to Scott, so I give myself lots of credit.

Oh Lillian... She was such a stinker this morning too. Extra cute and smiley, kicking in her crib and being very active. I just know that meant she didn't get in a good nap before she went to daycare, which means Lily is going to give them a run for their money. She was extra tired when I left and she was also due to eat. But hopefully she is getting her nap in and eating well so she will have a good rest of the day.

There is a bright side to my day though, I am getting an hour of pampering this morning!

Baby & Mom

Well, I am on my last week of maternity leave. We are trying to get into a routine so all of us can get out of the door in the morning and it is working out pretty good so far. Lily sleeps about 7 or 8 hrs a night so far (THANK HEAVENS!), so we have been feeling ok about next week. Hopefully it all keeps going well and she enjoys her daycare. Here are a few pic's from week 8 with mom.

2 Months!

We just had our 2 month appointment! The doctor said Lillian is doing great and looks perfect. She is now 10lbs,1oz (in the 29% with babies her age) and 22.5" (56%) tall. She is becoming much more active when she is awake, kicking and batting at things and trying so hard to tell you all about it. Here are a few pictures from last week.

This is the outfit she was going to wear when we went out to dinner with Jenny. Unfortunately Lillian was having a melt down, so we amused ourselves with some pictures of the super cute outfit and shoes! Then mom got to go out to eat. Thanks Dad for taking care of our grumpy little elf!

Even when she is crying she can melt your heart! So sweet!

We went and met Lillian's cousin who is just 4 weeks younger than Lillian.

WEEKS 6 & 7

Here is Lily at 6 & 7 weeks. You can see that she lost a lot of her baby hair on the front and top of her head.
